It's really great to see that Richard Clements is keeping it going as co-band leader of the Monday night house band at the 11th Street Bar, very cool scene!

Hammond Report October 11 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from Jon Hammond the organ player & accordionist, today's music story on a happy Indigenous Peoples' Day, my original tune Payphone Johnny - I wrote it in the payphone. Yesterday went down to catch the return of the amazing U.S. Navy Blue Angels and this morning as well to see their departure - but they changed their flight plan and are staying over an extra day in San Francisco, so it's great to have them back in town! I had a real nice gig the other night with Marc Baum on accordion and tomorrow I have a gig and next day I'll be playing a special streaming gig for the Hospitals Heroes in NYC - Have a beautiful Indigenous Peoples' Day folks and come back tomorrow for another Hammond Report,

Hammond Report October 2 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organ player & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story I'm playing around with just Hammond organ and tenor with my friend Marc on tenor, we have a gig coming up next week - not a formal recording sesssion, but I'm thinking about music and going to record when it's safer to have some cats over. I've been watching some docmunetaries about how Rick Hall put together all those hit records at Fame recording studio with the Swamper musicians. A lot of the big hits had Hammond organ of course.
