Hammond Report August 30 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organ player and accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story is about playing in Shanghai China at the very first Music China - Messe Frankfurt opening reception and at night on Danny Woody's jazz gig at the The Portman Ritz Carlton Shanghai China in the jazz bar which was a cigar bar on mezzanine level - along with Alex Layne acoustic bass (sadly deceased), Dr. Dwight Dickerson at the piano, fearless leader Danny Woody drums and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ. Hammond Report August 28 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organ player & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story about playing a special streaming concert to our Hospital Heroes in the NYC Health + Hospitals (yesterday) and I had another gig later - it was a big honor to be asked back to play on the "Music For The Soul" Program, beaming in through the magic of the internet! I played my new Hammond Sk PRO for the occasion - and I have been shooting some film again on a perfectly preserved James Bond Camera Olympus OM-4, as seen in the opening scene of "Licence To Kill" - I had seen that spelling on an Off Licence sign I took a picture of in London, now I think I'm getting what it means!
