Last night I watched SNL with guest host Elon Musk and Miley Cyrus was the musical guest - many of the Moms of the cast members came on the show, it was a good show. I met Willie when he opened up his club The Skybox in Emeryville where Kimball's East used to be - and I played there. I just joined the Sons Of Champlin Fan Group, I'm playing here with 2 long-time Sons of Champlin band members, Terry Haggerty who left the group in 2001 and James Preston who left planet earth in 2014, greatly missed!! On the band, Joe Berger, Heinz Lichius, Frank Delle and yours truly at the Sk1 Hammond organ - in honor of my dear friend, Lutz Büchner - missing man formation. I wrote this tune when I was 15 years old.
