The next time I told the cats they could order burgers, at end of the night he wouldn't pay for the stupid hamburgers so I paid, I'm sure not going to make the musicians pay - no business like the music business folks - very typical. Hammond Report April 7 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story about playing the kickoff concert at Summer with my band outdoors at the in downtown - on the band, trombone, t. sax, Louis Flip Winfield drums, 'Chuggy' Carter congas and percussion and yours truly at the organ - guitarist got stuck in the Chicago airport and had to sleep the night on one of the cots they put out - then got woke up super early by a supervisor lady - the story he had when he finally made it in to Nashville! I just watched a documentary titled "Your Flight is Canceled", no kidding! Well the good news is, we'll see us back in Nashville July 15th & 16th - the bad news is, as of now there is no live stage - every day a new story - and I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report folks!
