Hammond Report January 26 2021 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about the recording session for my album "Late Rent" remarkable documentary film from inside - the actual track "White Onions" being played and recorded - I played the house Hammond B3 organ that had a busted key - I got there early and managed to Super Glue it together and it held throughout the recording miraculously. On the date, drums, Chuggy congas and percussion, co-producer Engineer , tenor saxophonist , guitar and yours truly at the Hammond B3 organ. This is the same band personell that played at nightclub in 1989 - enjoy! I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report, this my daily update -

I did 33 consecutive years at the musikmesse until it was canceled due to pandemic. Maybe maybe again for October of this year 2021 - if it happens, I'll be there! Multi-tasking this morning, watching 's "Best in Show" wrap up of the Virtual 'Believe in Music Week TV', it was a great success! Unfortunately I didn't get the prototype Hammond Sk PRO in time to play it on the virtual event.

Big shout out to my friends , and for support on this special gig, we are playing through Tino's Roland Cube amp with 12" speaker - handling both my Hammond XB-2 organ and Barry's guitar! Around one big tube microphone going out with 150,000 big watts at 873 kHz on the dial prime time middle of the afternoon!
