Hammond Report September 22 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino - Daily Music and Stories from the organist and accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about laying down my tune entitled "Head Phone" and footage from Jazz Kneipe in Frankfurt on the Berliner Strasse where I played more than 200 times with my well-traveled XB-2 Hammond organ - on the band here are James Preston drums, Al Wittig tenor saxophone, Barry Finnerty guitar and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ - and current events, sadly we had over 200,000 deaths from the Coronavirus now, so please be real careful out there everybody and keep masking up in this pandemic! And get out and vote, very important election!

Hammond Report September 19 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about playing a gig in , the dance floor is open! I was reflecting on the very sad loss yesterday of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, when I was a young organ player on a gig where a fight broke out the bandleader told me "Don't stop playing, play faster play louder!" and now the gloves come off folks - this will be a fight of epic proportions! RBG's dying wish was to not be replaced until we have a new president. So don't give in to despair, it's time to fight like hell instead! Stay safe everybody, keep masking up in this pandemic!
